The aim of this project was to give known unconventional materials a new design language with the help of textile techniques. By changing the appearance and haptic of the materials they are put into a new context and hint at new areas of applications. The finished textiles combine in itself the properties of the material and the production technique.

For the textile, liquid latex is molded and woven to get a flesh-like appearance and feel. The textiles uneven structure and color palette combined with its inherent rigidity gives the material an unusual aesthetic. The textile combines heaviness and stability while being flexible and semi-transparent.
