Growing Cube

In this material experiment, a geometric body was formed using shape memory alloy. The special properties of the alloy allow the geometric body to be deformed and returned to its original shape using heat. This was an experiment for the exhibition “smart materials satellites” in the Stahlhaus Dessau.
